Why I made this

The most important people in my life weren't reading my Instagram. They were scattered across ten different group chats with ten different conventions, half of them muted. The stuff that actually mattered — a milestone, an ask for help, a photo of the baby's first steps — got lost between the memes and the side conversations of a thread that never slept.

I wanted one place that was only for us. Not a broadcast. Not a feed competing for strangers' attention. A private room with the door closed, where the family could actually find each other — and where the people who came before us don't get scrolled past and forgotten.

That's JamaaRich. Quiet on purpose. Private by architecture. Beautiful enough that you want to come back. Jamaa is Swahili for family — and this is built for mine, and for yours.

What I believe

• Sharing life together, not "let me share my life." The feed metaphor is broken for family. Every interaction is designed around what the whole family experiences, not what one person broadcasts.
• Invite-only is a feature. No algorithmic discovery. No public profiles. The family is closed by default and it stays closed.
• Premium is a posture. No ads, no data sales, no "we're free because you're the product." You pay for it, and I work for you.
• Your data is yours. Full export anytime. Cancel and I don't hold it hostage.
